Batman’s busy. I think we can take care of this ourselves…Can’t we girls?
Batgirls! Gosh, I love all three of these ladies so much. In their own unique ways, they are all so courageous and lovable and inspiring. And the relationships between them are simply the best. I hate that DC got rid of this. I hate, hate it SO much. Babs was such a great older sister/mentor to Cass and Steph. But there was also so much mutual respect between them. They were friends as well as siblings. Babs wasn’t bitter or resentful about Cass, and later Steph, taking over the role that had once been hers. Instead, she believed in them and encouraged them. And between Cass and Steph, Cass never looked down on Steph for being less skilled, and Stephanie never let jealousy of Cass come between them. No, instead they all loved and respected each other no matter what. It was truly “Team Batgirl”. And I really, really miss that.
